GlanceVNC is a VNC and RDP remote-desktop app by Chris Russell for iPhone and iPad. It helps home users and professionals view and control computers they own or are authorised to access, whether checking an application, working with a document or carrying out a desktop task.
An iPhone with iOS 18 or later, or an iPad with iPadOS 18 or later, and a reachable computer running a compatible VNC or RDP server, or Mac Screen Sharing.
Connect over your local network, or remotely through your own VPN that provides access to your computer. GlanceVNC connects directly to your computer and does not provide a hosted relay.
GlanceVNC is a paid App Store download with all features included. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases, and no GlanceVNC account is required.

Keep saved connections and their settings in sync between your iPhone and iPad with private iCloud sync.
Touch the screen directly or use it like a trackpad. Switch modes anytime, with gestures for clicking, scrolling and zooming.
Bring up the on-screen keyboard to work, then dismiss it with a tap to see more of your desktop.
Keep passwords in Apple Keychain. For RDP, review a computer’s certificate when needed and remember your approval.
Choose a photo for your home screen and adjust VNC colour quality to suit your connection.
Version 1.3 adds plain-text clipboard exchange for VNC, Mac Screen Sharing and RDP. Open the expanded session toolbar to use Copy from remote or Paste to remote, then use Paste on the remote desktop to insert text sent from your device.
TigerVNC desktop loading is more reliable on Linux, including CachyOS. Mac Screen Sharing waits longer for the desktop and automatically retries once if desktop preparation times out. Settings → What’s New now shows a text-based version history. Explore setup and feature help.
